Synthgpt Launches Beta Access

Synthgpt is a VST plugin set to revolutionize digital synthesis. The prompt-based plugin creates unique synth presets based on text-based user prompts. Created by Fadr, Synthgpt is currently in its Beta stage.  Fadr is a well known music production software company developed by Pebble. Fadr’s product offerings leverage Artificial Intelligence through creating individual stems, midi detection, as well as a remix making program with unlimited cloud storage.

The plugin is simple and intuitive to use. Users can articulate their ideas via text in the command box, and the plugin will create a custom synth as close to the prompt as possible. Due to its current lack of fine-tuning controls, Fadr recommends using adjectives and modifiers to achieve specific results.

Synthgpt allows users to favorite and save sounds they have created for future use like other popular VST plugins would. This innovative plugin will likely entice other digital music software companies to find ways to implement AI in their product offerings. 

Given its Beta status, Fadr welcomes and encourages users to submit feedback and ideas on how improvements could be made. The company notes that every few weeks an updated version of the plugin will become available. Confirmed future updates include non-text-based controls for fine-tuning sounds, audio effects controlled by AI, and overall sound quality improvements.

To run Synthgpt, a stable internet connection is required as the AI model is not stored natively on the user’s computer. 

For those looking to experience Synthgpt, access to the plugin is included in the Fadr Plus membership. The membership is $10 per month, or $100 when purchasing a annual subscription.
