When an 18 year old Alan Walker announced himself as a contender within a crowded music scene, none could have predicted the rise of a true star. Dropping ‘Fade‘ on No Copyright Sounds channel via YouTube to 19M subscribers (as of present day), the Norwegian producer racked up over 360 million streams on the track, with many more via other streaming services. The vocal track titled ‘Faded‘ followed with the same instrumental as the aforementioned, and continued Walker’s success, taking him into the charts and dominating worldwide. 3 years on, ‘Faded‘ features as the final track on his new album ‘Different World‘, which is available on all platforms.

With his collaborations alongside Trevor Guthrie, Steve Aoki, Noah Cyrus, Digital Farm Animals, and more, plus previously released successful tracks such as ‘Sing Me To Sleep‘ and ‘Alone‘, the album is already finding its way through the charts. Kicking of with an aptly titled ‘Intro‘ track, the journey through sounds and styles starts from the off. ‘Lost Control‘ stemmed from an idea a year ago, and the injection of Sorana‘s vocals creates an incredible production. ‘I Don’t Wanna Go‘ and ‘Lily‘ come with a couple of familiar faces, as Julie Bergan and K-391 feature. Steve Aoki joined Walker on stage at Coachella, and the pair’s collaboration ‘Lonely‘ reflects the strong array of skill between the two. ‘Do It All For You‘ contains the phenomenal voice of Trevor Guthrie, whilst ‘Different World‘ comes with equal power shown within the official music video released not long ago. The ‘Interlude‘ breaks the album up, as the first half contains largely unreleased music, whereas the second half is previous releases. ‘Sing Me To Sleep‘, ‘All Falls Down‘, and ‘Darkside‘ follow with the latter supporting vocals from ‘Panic Room‘ singer Au/Ra.Alone‘ was undoubtably one of Walker’s biggest tracks, and ‘Diamond Heart‘ drops before the grande finale. Creating a ‘Faded (Interlude)‘, Walker sets up for the big finish, with modern day classic ‘Faded‘ rounding off a spectacular album.
