The unforgettable moments from Martin Garrix‘s Tomorrowland closing set.

Weekend 1 of Tomorrowland 2023 came to an epic conclusion as world-renowned DJ and producer Martin Garrix took over the mainstage on Sunday night, leaving the crowd in awe with an unforgettable closing performance. The electrifying set featured a perfect blend of classic anthems, unreleased tracks, and heart-pounding beats that kept the audience on their feet throughout the night.

Kicking off his performance with a bang, with the highly anticipated unreleased track ‘Flashlights,’ setting the tone for a night filled with surprises. As the night progressed, the Dutch prodigy took his fans on a journey down memory lane by weaving in some of his most well-known classic tracks. Hits like ‘Like I Do,’ alongside both David Guetta & Brooks, ‘Break Through The Silence,’ with frequent collaborators Matisse & Sadko featuring Pete Wilde on the vocals, the classic gem ‘Animals,’ and the heart warming, euphoric ‘Gold Skies‘ alongside Sander Van Doorn, DVBBS and featuring the stunning vocals of Aleesia. All of which sent waves of nostalgia through the crowd, as they sang along to every word, creating an electrifying atmosphere that only Tomorrowland can deliver.

In true Martin Garrix fashion, the DJ also showcased the talent from his own STMPD Records label, treating the crowd to numerous unreleased tracks from artists like DubVision, Brooks, and Julian Jordan. This not only emphasized his commitment to promoting new talents but also added an element of exclusivity to the set, leaving fans excited for what’s to come from the label.

One of the most emotional moments of the night came when Martin dropped his beloved track ‘High On Life.’ The song’s euphoric melody and uplifting lyrics resonated deeply with the crowd, creating a sense of unity and joy among thousands of festival-goers.

As the night drew to a close, Martin Garrix had one final surprise up his sleeve. Before bidding farewell to the crowd, he treated them to his latest banger, ‘Hurricane,’ a collaboration with both  Sentinel and Bonn. As the last notes of ‘Hurricane’ echoed through the festival grounds, Tomorrowland outdid itself once again with a mesmerizing firework display that illuminated the night sky. The colorful explosions synchronized perfectly with the music, leaving everyone in a state of wonder and marking a fitting end to a weekend filled with unforgettable experiences.

With a setlist that combined nostalgia, unreleased gems, and heart-pounding beats, the Dutch maestro proved yet again why he stands at the pinnacle of the electronic dance music industry. As always we look forward to seeing what’s to come from the current No. 1 DJ of the world.
