Renowned DJ Laidback Luke launches Limiter Plugin

The Laidback Limiter is a dual-stage brick-wall limiter designed to maximize the loudness level of your master output, developed by world-renowned DJ and Music Producer Laidback Luke.

Laidback Luke is an acclaimed Dutch DJ and music producer with a career spanning over two decades. Rising to prominence in the late 1990s, he quickly gained recognition for his energetic and eclectic sets, blending various genres.

The plug-in is focused on pre-clipping; referring to pre-processing tracks transients with a clipping or saturation plugin, thus creating headroom in the mix. 

The plugin offers an intuitive interface with a user-friendly multi-band clipper with auto-gain and a brick-wall limiter. This combination ensures effortless audio enhancement, balancing levels, and preventing distortion. This tool is great for music production, podcasting, and achieving professional results easily, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced professional.

The multi-band clipper allows you to clip each of the four primary frequency bands without sacrificing the balance of your mix. Each clipper is equipped with an attack control, release control, and stereo link control.

The plugin comes with 23 built-in presets. In addition, the plugin offers phase-aligned wet/dry mixing, a loudness maximizer with auto-lookahead and auto-release, Peak/LUFS, and gain reduction meters, as well as 1x/2x/4x oversampling options.
