Going strong with their steady success, the folks behind iHeartRadio are set to host the 6th edition of their iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. To be held mid-way during the month of March, the revered music awards have focused on devoting accolades to the artists of our times for their performances on the charts and radio-waves as well as for their innate talents. This year, like the ones before, will see live performances and elaborate award ceremony featuring some of the biggest stars of the current music scene – with a keen eye on their achivements, releases and impressions from the year gone by.

For Dance music, this year sees strong competitors such as Zedd, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Kygo and Calvin Harris, stake their claim for the ‘Dance artists of the year’ category. Zedd’s track ‘The Middle‘, Calvin Harris’ collaboration with Dua Lipa titled ‘One Kiss‘, Kygo’s ‘Remind Me To Forget‘ featuring Miguel and Marshmello’s ‘Friends‘ and ‘Happier‘, featuring Anne Marie and Bastille respectively, are among the mix for being ‘Dance Song of the Year’. While Zedd also has a shot at the ‘Song of the Year’ category with his impressive track, it is Marshmello who has been nominated among the ‘Best New Pop Artist’. While competition remains narrow for the Dance music representation, we certainly do have the joy of having had great set of releases in the past year.
